Connect with Each other

What keeps us healthy and happy trough life are the connections we have with each other.

What keeps us healthy and happy trough life are the connections we have with each other. We all know this, yet we don't honour this truth.

We all know how important it is to be connected, to belong, to matter to someone ... And here we are , living in a world were loneliness is spreading like a pandemic. Lots of us struggling with feelings of not good enough, beautiful enough, smart enough or worthy of belonging. In a virtual world that offers us new images of a world counting friends and likes every second. Children experiencing and practising relationships and connection grow up more healthy and happy. They become adults who live their lives fully and will be able to offer connection back to the world. Every child should experience the warm feeling of support and belonging. To be able to do so, we have to practise connection together.

Relationships are messy sometimes, sometimes they are shiny...they are real.

In the field of child protection we are discovering more and more how we can see, organise, strengthen and coach networks around children. A natural network of family, friends, neighbours able to protect, support and coach children throughout their lives. Believing and recognizing their own strengths and their full potential as a network. Networks generate Hope. Hope and belonging for each one of us. In child welfare feeding connection and belonging is not a choice, it’s a necessity to create those opportunities to heal.
